The fastest way to get this right
Don't measure yourself. Measure a t-shirt you already own and like the fit of. Lay it flat, smooth out the wrinkles, and take two numbers:
- Chest — straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Length — from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, straight down to the hem.
Then find the closest row below. This takes ninety seconds and it is far more reliable than guessing from S/M/L, because every brand means something different by “medium.”

Measurements are the manufacturer's own specification for style 3001. Allow about half an inch either way — these are sewn garments, not machined parts.
How it actually fits
This is a retail fit, not the boxy shirt you get from a conference tote bag. It's cut closer through the body and the sleeves sit shorter and neater on the arm. Compared with a classic heavyweight tee, the same nominal size will feel slimmer.
- It runs true to size if you like a shirt that follows your shape.
- Size up if you want it loose, if you're between sizes, or if you're used to boxier tees and want that feel.
- Size down for a deliberately fitted look — it's cut straight, so many people who want a closer fit go one below their usual.
The fabric is soft, lightweight jersey (4.2 oz) with side seams and shoulder tape, so it keeps its shape through the wash rather than twisting. There's no scratchy neck label — it's a printed tear-away.
Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, tumble dry low. Don't iron directly on the print. Cotton jersey shrinks a little on a hot wash; a cold wash keeps the measurements above honest.
